What Melburnians Say

A few notes left at the counter and in our inbox after a build, a fix or a big Friday night.

My 1440p build came back cable-managed better than any showroom rig. They benchmarked it in front of me and beat the quoted frame rates. Genuinely the best A$2,100 I have spent.

Ticket Booth Questions

Good to Know Before You Visit

Everything about bookings, builds and dropping into the Forge on Langridge Street.

Bookings & Tournaments

Bracket spots are limited to 32 players, so we recommend booking your A$25 entry online by Thursday. Casual free-play lanes stay open for walk-ins all evening, though they fill quickly after 7pm.

Absolutely. Private party hire covers up to 20 players across our PCs, consoles and arcade cabinets for A$390 over three hours. We can arrange catering from neighbouring Smith Street venues on request.

Builds & Repairs

Most builds are ready in five to seven days once parts arrive. We photograph each stage and send a benchmark report on handover. Rush builds can sometimes be arranged for an extra fee — just ask at the counter.

For sentimental or collectible machines, almost always. A recap, clean and HDMI mod from A$120 typically costs a fraction of a boxed collector unit and keeps your original hardware alive. We will always give you an honest assessment first.

Yes. Custom builds carry a 3-year workmanship warranty and restorations are covered for 6 months. Warranty covers our labour and any parts we supplied; it does not cover accidental damage or liquid spills.

Visiting the Forge

We are at 61 Langridge Street, Collingwood, a short walk from Collingwood Station. Metered street parking is available on Langridge and Wellington Streets, and the 86 tram stops two minutes away.

We are open Monday to Thursday 11am–9pm, Friday 11am–late for tournament night, Saturday 10am–10pm and Sunday 11am–7pm. The workshop bench closes an hour before the lounge each day.
